Yes, We’re Going There.

Same bed. Different worlds. The homecoming didn't fix the distance. Barely speaking and realizing faith doesn't erase frustration. Married, committed... yet wondering when you became roommates instead of lovers.

That's just a taste of the type of conversations we’re having on The Home-Front Hu$tle: After Hours. If you’re a milspouse, service member, or veteran from any branch, pull up a chair.

I’m Toria, and I lead the show. Some episodes you’ll hear Martel and me go back and forth. Sometimes I’ll play his recorded response or share his take. And some episodes are just me flying solo.

Season 1: Behind Closed Doors

A Preview of What's Coming

EPISODE 1 | “You Thanked Me for My Service." But Nobody Knew What It Really Cost Me.

Not every veteran wants to hear 'Thank You for Your Service.' Five polite words usually spoken with good intentions but there's a deeper story those words never reach.

I'm a Navy veteran. And there's a side of my service that doesn't fit neatly into a patriotic speech, a folded flag, or a Veterans Day celebration.

You can honor the uniform without knowing what happened to the person wearing it.

This time, I'm telling my side.

EPISODE 2 | “I Didn't Know for Sure. So I Did Nothing.”

She lived just a few doors down. There were rumors of abuse. I didn't know what was true, so I stayed silent.

Years later, I still think about it.

When does minding your business become looking the other way? And how much proof do we need before showing someone we care?

Meet Your Hosts

Toria and Martel

Toria and Martel met while serving in the Navy and got married exactly one year later. They’re both Navy veterans, and after nearing 24 years of marriage, they still can’t agree on which side of the sink the dirty dishes belong. Toria asks the questions that make Martel pause before answering. Martel is retired from the Navy, a perfectionist behind the scenes, and happy to scroll social media without posting a thing. Somehow, Toria talked him into a microphone. They pray together, get on each other’s nerves, and still have plenty to talk about. Pull up a chair. You can decide who’s right about the dirty dishes.
